Stonewall DFL is a political organization that works for a safe and equitable Minnesota by electing GLBT and allied Democrats to office in Minnesota and in the DFL. While other political parties may talk about GLBT rights, the DFL has a proud record that demonstrates its commitment to social justice and fair-minded equality.

Candidate Training & Development
Stonewall offers advice to candidates and campaigns about GLBT outreach.
Support of Endorsed Candidates
Stonewall offers endorsements for local, state, and federal DFL candidates. Once a candidate gets our endorsement, that candidate can look to us for financial and/or volunteer support. Many in the GLBT and Allied communities seek Stonewall's advice in choosing fair-minded candidates for whom to vote.
Advice on how to get involved in DFL Politics
As the GLBT caucus of the DFL, we are always looking for the next generation of leaders. We can help you get involved in the political process.
In addition to all of these things, we have recently:
Achieved 92% success rate for our endorsed candidates in 2006
Performed outreach to GLBT communities in rural Minnesota
Elected the first lesbian Affirmative Action Officer to the State DFL
Aided in the election of the current Associate Chair of the DFL
Assisted in the creation of the Paul Wellstone Scholarship for Public Service
But we didn't do all of this alone! Our members were there to help us achieve all of these things and more through their generous contributions of membership dues and even more generous donation of their time.
